+ Had a friend play the game.
+ Bug fixes
+ Properly added in Stage 2's secrets. They are just barebones level skips right now but I'd like to flesh them out
+ Updated Itch.io's page (did it before realizing I couldn't draft the changes so fuck it)

December 2016, Week 4

+ Pause screen
+ Reworked stairs system
+ Prepared for Demo Day 12 (I think)
- Dunno what to do other than wait in fear of breaking things last minute

December 2016, Week 3

+ Finished the second boss.
+ Began work on Stage 3's mechanics (made a gun).
+ Had a friend play through the second stage + boss while visiting.
+ Discovered a bunch of bugs while he was playing.
- Desperate need of some redesigning of certain areas.

December 2016, Week 2

+ Pretty much finished Stage 2. Still need to balance it though.
+ Tiled in Stage 2 with some placeholders
+ New enemy (fireball sun who shoots at you. I hate it (I love it)).
+ New boss music
+ Pushing hard to finish before Demo Day to get pre-demo feedback.
+ Motivation is flowing again. Back into a grove (don't know for how long).
- Haven't even conceptualized the boss yet

December 2016, Week 1

+ Working on options menu.
+ Got the options themselves working.
+ Ini file handling for saving options
+ Scanline shader is more or less done and toggleable.
+ More progress on the second stage.
+ Menu music
+ Main theme song

+ Tiled the second stage (what there currently is)
+ Made skeletons
+ Silly skeleton minigame
+ Still exploring more design ideas but nothing implemented yet.
+ Actually managed to spell my game's name correctly this time.
- Minimal art progress so using infringing assets
- Afraid of running out of ideas too quickly and having a game too short
