+ Minimap functions restored
+ Cliffs and other impassible terrain are now darkened in the minimap for easy visualization
+ Basic factions and attack functions restored
+ Swarm mode now has settings, where you can set unit spawn frequency, type and when they begin to spawn
- Turns the game into a tower defense game, but oh well
+ Auto-move to building for builders and supply for supply collectors fixed
- Due to the way we treat sea tiles, everything, including buildings, are amphibious. The sea is basically 3 feet deep.
- It's hilarious and I'm not going to fix it until after version 0.02
- Some pathing issues still need to be addressed
- This new game mode is more or less compensation for not being able to restore multiplayer by version 0.02.

Not getting much done lately but I'm still working on this. I've had some hard gameplay decisions to crack which I find exhausting. Inbetween wracking my brain about those I tweak the visuals so here's an update on that.

Fake "motion blur" on the snow flakes via stretching
Better snow flake shadows
No performance impact from either improvement.
Working on a better crosshair and camera controls.

- Refined the mouse aim, laser length, and settled on a light source as a "cursor" so you can tell where you're aiming exactly when the laser is occluded or when you're aiming closer than laser length.
- Undecided: Will controller input emulate this behavior or will it be direction-based without a cursor?
- Tweaked movement to be more snappy/responsive.
- Experimented with values (sun, AO, skybox, fog) for foggy weather.

+ new unlockable ability: electric discharge. lightning bolts arc between enemies, doing small damage that can add up to a lot in the right circumstances! hold aim button to charge (can be done during other moves) and release it by hitting a slice attack. Still tweaking this (and need to make sounds). suggestions for more abilities are always nice.
